Christmas Turkey – Step 6: Carving

Your turkey is now ready for carving with a good sharp carving knife. Unwrap your turkey crown and legs from the baking foil carefully since even after resting for an hour they will still be hot. Carve thin slices of the meat and leg roll and serve with gravy. Delicious.

Serves: 8  Prep: 10 mins


  • 1 cooked turkey crown
  • 2 cooked stuffed turkey leg roll joints


  1. Carve thin, 5mm slices from the turkey breast meat.
  2. Cut 2 to 3cm thick slices from the stuffed turkey leg roll joint.


Chef’s Tip

Ensure your carving knife has been sharpened before carving.
